Oct 2, 2016 2:18 PM in response to steelbiscuit2014by Matthew JT,Hi - this problem started for me when I changed my Apple ID e-mail address. I sorted it by going into Settings, Messages, Send & Receive where I found the Apple ID was still set to my old e-mail address. I also looked at FaceTime and found the same thing - updating both of these to my new Apple ID e-mail sorted it.

Oct 3, 2016 4:24 AM in response to Matthew JTby Banadula,I had never changed my Apple ID email address for years, although I had many devices during that period. I also cannot recollect an event that must have triggered it. On advice of a member of the Community, I changed the Apple ID password too, without any change to the problem! This happens in only in iPhone 6S and never in Macbook or iPad Air. Thank you for your Input Matthew.

come on apple you guys can do better than this, we shouldn't have to spend hours trawling through everyones version of how this crap gets sorted, its your phone "even though we paid for it" so can you sort your crap out and give us a standard easy set?
it cant be possible i am logged into my e mail account which relates to my i tunes account and not be able to simply stop this incredibly annoying and pointless pop up every five seconds... so stop this forum rubbish and sort the job out
