Q: Icloud support for Outlook 2016

I have been fighting this issue now for a couple days and here is what I have learned.

I essentially automatically updated Office 2013 to Office 2016 via Office 365.  Synchronization with iCloud was broken.  It was supposedly to be fixed with the new release of iCloud (5.0).  On 23rd this occurred but not fixed.  Microsoft after much effort and 3 re-installs of iCloud gave up and told me to buy a service contract to revert to Office 2013 (this is not easy and essentially involves a clean install of Outlook with all that entails).

Yesterday I got to second level Apple support and they confirmed that iCloud 5.0 DOES NOT support Outlook 2016 and there was no time line for a fix.  I do not believe it supports the Mac version either.

The primary error I get is that iCloud says I do not have an Outlook Profile (which I do... see below).  Allegedly this is because iCloud is referring to old locations for the profile in the windows registry... if I knew how to make an alias, that might work.
