a way to get pc to recognise ipod

This may not work for everyone that has had this problem but it worked for me. i came across the solution after about 4 hours looking through forums. unplug your computer at the mains and leave it for about 10 seconds, then turn everything back on and your ipod should be recognised,i dont know why it works but it did. hope this helps you if you had the same problem i did.
