Now when I opened boot camp assistant I got this on my screen which is wrong, because window 7 check box is invisible, which will be above the check box of download latest windows support software...

Here you can see...

So I watched many videos and tutorials and forum regarding this... And which I liked is this https://mihail.stoynov.com/2013/04/22/force-boot-camp-into-using-an-iso-image-of -windows-to-create-the-usb-flash-drive-f…and many are same like this...

So I followed but I can't edit info.plist file, so I want the reason and solution for this so please I will attach three more screenshots in which you can see what kind of error I got when I try to change permission of this file...

Insert your DVD in the Mac, shutdown your Mac, power it back up, and hold the Alt Key. Do you see a selection for your DVD?

Run BC Assistant. Please see How to install Windows using Boot Camp - Apple Support on step-by-step instructions.

This link should also help - https://help.apple.com/bootcamp/assistant/6.0/ .

    1. You need to let Bootcamp Assistant make the partition, not Disk Utility. Did you look at the link I posted?

    2. Put the DVD in your Optical drive.

    3. Run Applications -> Utilities -> Bootcamp Assistant and follow the process.

Is your W7 DVD in the Optical drive? Can you check Finder? If it is open, unmount the DVD. Do not eject it.

Running out of battery and I forgot charger in office.

But I can open DVD and check it contents. So you mean I have to unmount it? So I can't see contents which are in DVD?

Check if you can see the content in Finder first. If you can see files, then unmount it, but do not eject it. If that checkbox is not enabled, it is not reading the DVD.

You will need to run a SMC Reset/NVRAM reset.

Did you enter your password in both the places where it prompted you for Bootcamp Helper and System Settings?

Before BCA starts downloading the Windows Software, with the DVD in the Optical drive, are both checkboxes enabled?

How was this Windows DVD created?
