How can I retrieve iPhoto back on my Mac after installing OS X Yosemite? Please help!

I cannot download new photos from my camera or edit photos that now appear in Photo.

I cannot even get to iPhoto to change any "star" rating or marks to use in Photo.

Your Mac must have iPhoto 9.6.1 installed in order for it to work on Yosemite.

Clickhereand try following the instructions; you'll only be able to do so if you previously got iPhoto from or associated it with the Mac App Store.
