Safari 9.0.1 with OS X 10.11.1 freezes when opening new tab

Hello.

I've got MBPro 15" Mid 2014 with the latest OS X update - 10.11.1.

Recently I have noticed that sometimes Safari freezes for 3-5 seconds when I open new tab or click on address bar. I am sure that I didn't have this issues few days ago.

In system logs I've found these entries which appear just after freeze occurs:

24/10/15 21:13:24,674 PressAndHold[334]: IMKServer Stall detected, *please Report* your user scenario attaching a spindump (or sysdiagnose) that captures the problem - (activateServer) block performed very slowly (2.02 secs)

24/10/15 21:13:24,674 PressAndHold[334]: IMKServer Stall detected, *please Report* your user scenario attaching a spindump (or sysdiagnose) that captures the problem - (hidePalettes) block performed very slowly (2.02 secs)

24/10/15 21:13:24,674 PressAndHold[334]: IMKServer Stall detected, *please Report* your user scenario attaching a spindump (or sysdiagnose) that captures the problem - (deactivateServer) block performed very slowly (2.02 secs)

I've tried to clear Safari caches, delete cookies etc but to no avail. I also reset SMC - still didn't help.

Did anyone stumble across this problem? What can I do to solve this issue?

This procedure will disable press-and-hold character selection.

Back up all data before continuing.

Please triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:

defaults write -g ApplePressAndHoldEnabled NO

Copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C.

Launch the built-in Terminal application in any of the following ways:

☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)

☞ In the Finder, select Go Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.

☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.

Paste into the Terminal window by pressing the key combination command-V. I've tested these instructions only with the Safari web browser. If you use another browser, you may have to press the return key after pasting.

A new line ending in a dollar sign ($) should appear below what you entered. You can then quit Terminal.

Log out or restart the computer. Test.

To reverse the change, run the following command in the same way as before, then log out or restart again:

defaults delete -g ApplePressAndHoldEnabled

Thank you for your response.

Unfortunately, it didn't help. This problem still occurs (but press and hold function is indeed disabled).

These are new logs:

For me, it looks like there is some problem with PressAndHold function on new OS X 10.11.1 - I've encountered this issue on two macbooks, so it is not hardware related problem.

Do you know how to report this problem directly to Apple?
