Q: Thunderbolt display don't work on MacBook pro Running Windows 8.1

Hi,

I am a little bit out of solutions as I try to make an external display on my MacBook pro (Early 2011) running Windows 8.1

It don't recognize any display plugged in thunderbolt, even if it boot plugged in.

I installed a lot of drivers in order to make it work but still nothing.

It's not working using Thunderbolt to hdmi or Thunderbolt to analog or to VGA.

Any ideas ?

Much of it relates to using the computer in Mac OS X, so you may need to run some tests without using Boot Camp.

I forgot to mention that external displays are working pretty well on OS X, the only problem is while running windows 8.1

if the correct driver is not used like if rather then nvidia or amd it says GENERIC VGA then only basic stuff works
so best bet is your videocard drivers is the problem

My Macbook pro is Early 2011 and use Intel Graphics 3000.

I installed the latest bootcamp drivers and also tried to use drivers from intel website made for Intel Graphics 3000 on windows 8.1 and still don't work
