Q: iTunes won't use gift card money

hi. I have an account that is funded with plenty of gift card money, but when I go to buy something on iTunes, the money from the gift cards seems not to matter, and it goes to straight to my credit card. Do these cards expire, or am I at the mercy of some server glitch?

Does the Gift Card balance show in iTunes when you click on your User ID that is signed in?

Then not sure why it would not be deducting from that balance first. You need to contact iTunes Support to see if they can figure out what the issue is:
