Logic Pro 9 issues with El Capitan

Hi, just to ask if it would be possible for apple to fix any bugs that have arisen in Logic 9 when running on El Capitan? If so, this would be terrific, as I recently made that update and Logic 9 is bugging up. After a time, horizontal scrolling starts disfiguring the bar ruler and measure numbers. I haven't been able to figure out why it only starts doing this after a time and not at the beginning, upon opening Logic.

If anyone else has had similar experiences with this and further, have a solution to this problem, please let me know .. I would REALLY appreciate this .. I feel completely stuck!

Thanks kindly for looking into this Apple!

John

This is a user to user forum. Apple don't come here and won't see your post.

The last update to 9 came out in 2012 and Logic X came out in July, 2013. I wouldn't expect Apple to make any further amends to the code at this stage. The only advice I can give is to make sure you are running v9.1.8 as that was the only version that ran properly under 10.10.x, 10.9.x and 10.8.x.

EDIT: Sorry, I see you are running 9.1.8 from your signature. In that case I'd roll back an OS from my backup or move to Logic X.

Logic-9's graphic routines are obviously not 100% compatible with El Capitan, the chances of Apple fixing Logic 9 are zero, null, nada, goose-egg!

Was there any real reason to upgrade the operating system? Besides the fact that Apple trains it's customers to keep upgrading so they keep having to purchase more Apple hardware/software.
