I can not use my itunes credit for purchases. it only asks for credit card details??

    Is this a new account that you are trying to download something with for the first time, or are you trying to gift (gifting can't be done via a credit card) ? And your account's balance covers the item's price (plus any applicable taxes) ?

     

    Have you tried entering your card to see if it's charged (apart from potentially a temporary store holding charge) for the purchase ?
