Not sure which "AirPort" that you are referring to here. You posted in the support forum for the Apple AirPort routers....the products that you see below:

However, it sounds like you might be asking about the WiFi icon that appears at the top of your Mac's screen. If that is what you asking about, then you need to post in the support forum for the operating system that your Mac is using.
