Q: Firefox crashes and takes me to login screen

Hi guys,

My latop is a MacBook Pro mid 2010. I have OS X El Capitan installed.

Recently my MacBook crashes when I use Firefox and takes me to the login screen. When I login again, Firefox gives me the option to relaunch my tabs I had open in Firefox. Why does it do this? How can I check to see if any hardware if faulty?

I'd really appreciate any help I can get

MacBook Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11.1)

I brought my computer in to Apple, and while they confirmed that the crash logs indicated the graphics drivers, my computer passed the VST test.  They also said that the RAM they gave me is within specifications, and is simply capable of being clocked at a higher speed than the RAM that my computer originally had.

Based on all of the information provided, I would like a second opinion in your case.  If possible, I would take it to a different Apple store.

I do not like the answer to both the RAM compatibility and the fact that the GPU is problematic (per the panic reports) but does not fails the VST test.

    Ciao.
