Audio not working on MBP w/ Retina

I recently bought the new Macbook Pro 13” with Retina display, OSX Yosemite, but the sounds aren’t working. Neither the built in speakers nor earphones are working with my MBP. The problem occurred when I tried plugging in a generic speaker, one that had both an audio and usb cable because the power comes from the computer. There was a pop-up, then the audio was disabled

I’ve tried different things to restore it:

-resetting the PRAM

-trying different headphones

-I've looked at the sound system preferences and it said no output and input devices, and the controls are disabled

-restoring my MBP to factory default

can someone help me out? Please and thank you!!

I've ran the Apple Diagnostics thing and it didn't really show anything indicating that I have a problem with my speakers

Another thing worth noting is, sometimes when I boot my mac, the boot up sound plays, but the speakers become disabled when it reaches the login screen. The volume icon on the menu bar isn't disabled when this happens, but it still doesn't play any sound.

I've checked my Sound Preferences and the built in speakers does not show up at the output tab, only Headphone port is the available output. If I plugin my heaphones, there's only this weird noise.
