Q: iTunes slow

Since downloading the latest update to iTunes, 12.3.1, iTunes has been abysmally slow with lots of spinning beachballs.  I have a late 2014 mini with SSD and 16G of memory.  The previous version of iTunes was very fast with anything I tried to do.

Here's what I have - I am pulling 102mbps in download speeds elsewhere.  In iTunes 12.3.1.23, however, it is creeping along when updating apps as if it's only pulling 1.5mbps.  Took 10 minutes to update an app of 70mb.  Normally would take about 30 seconds.    See anything that can help figure this out?
