Hi There,
I can't seem to figure out why my HD cinema display won't connect as a third monitor to my iMac 5k.
The setup (DVI-Thunderbolt) does work on the old Mac book Pro, so nothing wrong with the display itself.
Anyone out there who knows what the solution might be?

When did you get your 27" iMac 5K? Only the late 2015 version supports more than one external display.
Mmm..it's an early 2015.
I've had it working though. Strangely, if I only connect the cinema display (the other monitor is a sony) it still doesn't work.

Its working! Turned out I needed a dual link thunderbolt to DVI. Able to run three different screens now.So the full native support doesn't have to be 3840 x 2160.
