Is there a way to lock the emoji picker on screen or make it "sticky"?

sometimes in messages I want a string of three or four emoji but after clicking one the emoji picker is dismissed automatically. I then have to click the button again or use the keyboard shortcut to get it back. Is there a way to lock or make the window sticky?

thanks.

Hi,

Open the Emoji pop up and then click and hold one of the titles (like Food and Drink).

The item can then be pulled away from the main window and left as a floating pallet.
