Q: Too many networks to choose from

I live in an apartment block and my iMAC picks up all of the other wifi networks and normally connects to the first one on the list which is not mine. How do I hide all of the other networks or get my iMAC to permanently choose mine?

There's no way to hide unwanted networks that I'm aware of but you can permanently choose what networks you connect to by choosing "open network preferences">Advanced>then highlight each network you've connected to and click on the minus symbol to forget them.

Make sure the "remember networks this computer has joined" is checked while you're in advanced settings.
