Oct 25, 2015 1:44 PM in response to Tarouquelaby ChrisJ4203,Apple does not have a trade-in program. They do offer recycling of older devices, or you could see if your carrier has anything, but the most I believe you could get for recycling is a 10% discount on purchasing a new device.

Oct 25, 2015 2:15 PM in response to Tarouquelaby Michael Black,An iPhone 3Gs is too old to be eligible for Apple's third party recycle for credit program, so you cannot get anything for it from Apple. You could sell it but honestly you will get very little for such an out dated device. Online buyback places like gazelle.com will also not buy back a 3GS anymore, it is just too old a model.
Apple will still take it to see it is recycled properly. As will drop-off recycle places like Bestbuy. But they will not give you anything for it.
