Q: Bluetooth can't connect my mid-2014 rMBP to my iPhone 6
I was trying to connect my MacBook Pro Retina mid 2014 to my iPhone 6 for a Bluetooth file transfer and its never worked. When I find the MacBook Pro in the Bluetooth my devices system preferences in my phone it says " connection unsuccessful" and "make sure the MacBook Pro is turned on and within range". This is when I'm sitting right in front of it. And when I go to the Bluetooth part of system preferences on my MBP and click on my iPhone it'll say connected for half a second and then "network is unavaliable make sure network access is enabled".
I'm not sure if something is wrong with the laptop or what. I've come across a few topics on this site saying it's not possible to connect a MacBook Pro to an iPhone but the issues stated on those topics weren't exactly the same as mine.
Any information on this is appreciated. Thanks.
MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2014), OS X Yosemite (10.10.3)
