On each device you are going to set up, the first thing you should do is:

Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings

This will cause the device to be set up as if it were just taken out of the box for the first time.  You will have a fresh start with the new Apple ID you just created.

Make sure each device uses a separate instance of iTunes to do its syncing (if in fact you use iTunes to sync).
