Q: iphone 5s stopped connecting to ue boom

Iphone always worked on UE Boom, suddenly stopped, I have switched off the phone, forgotten device, updated IOS 9.1, switched bluetooth off and on again. Can still connect to Jambox by bluetooth but just cannot find UE Boom or Mini Boom.  I have gone through process as per Get help connecting a Bluetooth accessory with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support  but still does not work.  I have switched off all other bluetooth devices.

iPhone 5s, iOS 9.1

Have you deleted the pairing on the bluetooth device if possible, and put the device back in pairing mode?

What information did you learn from the UE Boom support site?

I followed basically same procedure as above as instructed on ultimateears site, Compatibility A2DP. These speakers worked perfectly before, but stopped working after I tried to connect to a bluetooth speaker at a soundstore, my phone did not want to connect to bluetooth speaker at store and when I came back home it refused to connect to my speaker that I normally use. Unfortunately I cannot remove anything from device, it can however accommodate up to 8 devices.

    This worked for me:

    1. Turn on the UE BOOM

    2. Press and hold Volume - and Power for 10 seconds. There should be an audible confirmation that the unit has reset.

Upon reboot, the unit will be in pairing mode.
