My ipad hangs, suddenly switches to black background with logo and freezes

MY ipad 3 was just updated a few days ago. It went smoothly until everything was done. It frooze on me when trying to unlock the screen so i hard reset. Then apps started to crash and hang even after updating then as well. Then sometimes when using it, it suddenly freezes then switch to the black background with logo and stays then till forever until i hard reset it. Please help me! i dont want to hard reset my ipad everytime im using it.

It sounds like you were successfully able to update your iPad the second time but are still getting freezes and restarts.
