Oct 26, 2015 11:46 AM in response to andreszucby jbhnrh,Based on the PDF I listed above it sounds like iOS devices have to be configured using Configuration Profiles that contain your network credentials and the correct certificates. That would have to be done via Apple Configurator for iPads and iPods I believe.

Oct 26, 2015 1:01 PM in response to andreszucby rccharles,There is some confusion on what you want to do. I do not suspect you need configurator for whatever you want to do.
What are you trying to do?
Please describe what doesn't work. What is failing. What needs to change.
Why do you think you need configurator? Configurator is an automation tools. It automates the manual steps you can do on any ipad.
To connect to a wifi network, you can do that in the setting app on your ipad.
settings > wifi
To configure a wifi router, you can logo to most wifi routers from the safari app. You enter the wifi routers ipad address. ... ususally, 192.168.0.1. Look in your owners manual.
To configure an apple wifi router, download the apple wifi utility.
to setup a wireless 802.1x on my iPad?
Note the word "my". You do not need configurator to set up one ipad. Configurator is for a group of ipads.

Oct 27, 2015 4:58 PM in response to rccharlesby andreszuc,Hi, I´m not confused, previously the iPhone Configuration Utility was used to create you a profile iphone or ipad to set up a wireless 802.1x, but this utility was replaced by Apple Configurator, the problem is that apparently can not be installed on Windows as it was the previous version. So my question is if anyone knows some other method to configure a wireless 802.1x on an ipad but without an Apple computer.
