Insert math symbol

How can I insert a number with an exponent (i.e. 2 squared) into an email that I'm composing in Mail? Thanks!

Officially it is doable:


>System Preferences>Keyboard>>Keyboard ( √ show keyboard, Emoji, & Symbols Viewers in menu bar)


Now from the icon in the upper right menu bar top of your screen>Show Emoji & Symbols


from this "Character View" Go the gear wheel at the upper left corner, select customize, and check the box for Digits.

Your super scripts, fractions etc are built in here.


With the the Character View>Digits-all showing you double click to insert for example in your email.


Simple huh?
