I-tunes is  not syncing with my TOUCH I-pod 32Gigs (about 6 years old) either at home or at  the office after I installed I-tunes 12.3.1.25 on my main computers (windows 7 office and 10 home) .

The message is “I-tunes could not connect to the I-pod “Jim’s I-pod” because an invalid response was received from the device”….note I get the same message at home and work…bought a new cable and still no luck.

However, on my laptop (windows 10) it works perfectly because  the laptop has an older version of the I-Tunes software 12.2.2.23. I have tried d to re-install the old version, but it will not work. I need some help here.
