Q: How can I?♿️

Hello, I'm a person who is paralyzed in both hands.  Up till now I used to have people dig in my wallet for my credit card or money.  This is a hassle I don't mind doing it but I have to, in order to pay.  Most places don't mind doing it in order to get their money.  When I heard about Apple Pay I thought all my problems wer solved, not the case.  I can left my arm but I can't use any part of my hands,  so touching my thumb to the phone and lifting at the same time is impossible for me.  I could touch my thumb to my phone and then lift it, would that work?  I could type in passcode and then lift it, would that work?  If anybody has any idea about what I can do please let me know, thank you very much.

    Hi Mack

    Apple Pay can be used in two ways, the second of which as described below may meet your needs:

    • You can hold the top of your iPhone near the contactless reader with your finger or thumb resting on the Touch ID sensor, or;
    • You can prepare in advance to pay with Apple Pay:
      • Double-press the Home button (or open Passbook / Wallet if you do not have that shortcut method enabled), select your preferred card and place your finger or thumb on the Touch ID sensor until you see "Hold Near Reader to Pay".
      • You then have 60 seconds during which to pay by holding the top of your iPhone near the contactless reader.
      • During this time, you do not need to keep your finger or thumb on the Touch ID sensor or to place it there again.
