Oct 27, 2015 6:40 AM in response to ConnorJCby Loner T,★Helpful1. How were you trying to remove Windows?
2. Please post the output of the following OS X Terminal commands
diskutil list
diskutil cs list
sudo gpt -vv -r show /dev/disk0
sudo fdisk /dev/disk0
The "sudo" commands will prompt for your password, and it will not be echoed back. You may also see a warning about improper use of "sudo" and potential data loss due to "abuse" of the command.

Oct 27, 2015 6:01 AM in response to Loner Tby ConnorJC,1. I tried different ways to remove it, I firstly launched BootCamp once again and when it was busy removing the partition, it stopped saying an error message. I tried multiple times, didn't work. Secondly, I tried to use disk utility like it said on Apple website. I went to disk utility, erased, and formatted it to the type that it said on the Apple Website. Here is the instructions =
If you installed Windows on a disk that has a single partition
- Start up your Mac in OS X.
- Open Disk Utility, located in the Other folder in Launchpad.
- Select the Windows disk, click Erase, choose the Mac OS Extended (Journaled) format, then click the Erase button.
However, when I followed these instructions, instead of the disk named Windows, it was named BootCamp. I still followed the instructions, but they did not work.

2. Now you have the gap, a HFS-formatted prior BC/Windows partition. The simplest method is to use Time Machine, back up OSX, boot into Internet Recovery, erase the internal disk, and restore from TM backup. There are other terminal-based alternatives as well.

Oct 27, 2015 4:32 PM in response to Loner Tby ConnorJC,Are there any other ways that you can specify other than Time Machine? Because I do not have a Time Capsule and it will not let me back up or restore without a Time Capsule. If there is a way to use Time Machine without Time Capsule, please let me know.
