Bootcamp Mac OS 10.11: Cannot see Macintosh HD in Windows 10

Hi to all,

I did a fresh install of Mac OS 10.11 and then used bootcamp to install Windows 10. Bootcamp support software is installed, too. But if I login in Windows 10 I cannot see the Mac Partition (Macintosh HD). The drive is not encrypted.

Does somebody know why I cannot read the mac drive?

regards,

emk

It seem to be core storage. But what is core storage compared to HFS+? Does it have benefits? Or why was it introduced?

This may help you a bit. From OSX Terminal, run

diskutil cs revert D106FBE7-7DD0-4F54-B8F5-29A0A11EF6B3

and test.

CS allows multiple physical disks to behave like a single volume. CS is a Volume management layer.
