move to ios could not communicate with device

I was using galaxy note 2 found out after so many tries after going into the android device settings, connections,more networks, mobile networks, and under connections optimizer once I clicked in there and unchecked the option worked perfect hope this helps...

I had to stop my android phone connecting to my home wifi before it would connect to the iphone,

I had this problem to - by switching off the wifi option that switches between wifi & mobile data the problem was solved. Known as Smart Switch on some phones and also Optimiser on others.

I ran in to this issue while moving from Samsung S2 to Iphone -7. I had to disable mobile data then only it fixed this issue.
