Q: Ipod won't work with itunes

I just updated my ipod touch, and when I plug it in to my computer (windows 10) I get a message that says "This ipod cannot be used because it requires a new version of itunes. Go to www.itunes.com to download the latest version of itunes".

When I go to update it, it says that I have the current version (12.1.2). How can I fix this? I'm not smart with computers, so thanks in advance for helping!

You need to download and install the latest iTunes. Go here:

http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/

I tried that, but then a message came up that said "Service 'Apple Mobile Device Service' failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services". I hit retry, but the same message kept coming up. What do you think I should do?
