the ICloud settings on my iPad and IPhone are pointing to the wrong appleid. How can I change it to the correct appleid?

The iCloud setting on my iPhone and IPad are pointing to the wrong Appleid. How can I get this corrected? It's not editable. Apple support fixed an issue previously with my applied as it was pointing to a non-existen e-mail address. They fixed it for access to the apple store but the fix did not carry through to the applied used to access ICloud. Thius I need to get the correct applieid in the settings. HELP. I keep getting requests to sign in to an iCloud account that does not exist until I finds a fix for this.

Hi jmaly,

I understand your iPhone and iPad are signed into the wrong Apple ID in iCloud Settings. When you go to iCloud settings you can't edit it.

Note you don't edit the iCloud account listing at the top of the settings window. Instead you sign out of the current one and in with the desired one as outlined in this article (step 2+).

Sign in with a different Apple ID on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

iCloud

Tap Settings > iCloud on your iOS device. If you see the option to sign in, you can change your Apple ID now.

Scroll down and tap Sign Out. In iOS 7 or earlier, tap Delete Account. After you sign out of iCloud, you might not be able to access some of your data that's stored in iCloud until you sign in again. If you're part of a family, you'll need to sign back in to use Family Sharing.

Choose Keep on My iPhone or Delete from My iPhone.

Enter your password.

Go to Settings > iCloud and enter your Apple ID and password.

Tap Sign In.
