Q: How do you find the password for the reset in settings

I'Ve had my iPad2 for four years with no problems until I upgraded to ios9, whenever I'm on the internet it either freezes or drops out, tried to reset in settings but it won't except  the password that I usually sign on with,  done a complete reset in iTunes and held the start button untill the apple sign but no joy at all, wish I had never upgraded,

I'm just trying to understand which problem you are asking about. Is your password not being accepted and you can't activate the iPad again or you resolved that and it is still freezing up on you?

If the password isn't being accepted, try resetting it.

Thank you for replying, I can sign on OK with my password, what I need to know is, when you go into settings to do a reset it asks for a pass code, the one I use to sign on with does'nt work in there, I was thinking that perhaps it was in some paper work when I first got the iPad which was over four years ago  and I'm unable to find after all that time, I'm wanting to try and reset hoping it will stop my iPad from freezing and dropping out when on the Internet, after trying everything else that people have suggested ,

hope  I have explained OK , I'm not very technical. Thanks again

Thanks for replying,  no I can excess my iPad with my password ,what I'm trying to say is, when I go into settings to do a reset it asks for a pass code, the one I use to sign on with doesn't work so I was wondering if there is a way to to find the settings pass code, I've tried everything else that people have suggested to stop it freezing and dropping when on the Internet so thought that a reset might help, sorry if I haven't explained properly but I'm not very technical, thanks again.

The Passcode is usually a four digit code number that you use when you unlock the iPad rom sleep.
