computer can't find keyboard
All of a sudden the computer can't find my keyboard. I can't get into any systems because the computer is locked out trying to find my keyboard. Now what?
iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2014), iOS 8.1.2

If your Wi-Fi is capable of generating a 5 GHz signal, try that.
Restart the computer holding down the command - option/alt - P - R keys before the gray screen appears. Continue to hold until you hear the startup chime for the second time.
Eric, thank you for all your information but this is what happened: I changed the batteries and still nothing; but somehow I must have pressed down on the 2 outside buttons on the keyboard and that seemed to reconnect the keyboard to the computer. Don't quite know why though
You are welcome. It appears the keyboard shutdown, possibly due to low batteries.
