computer can't find keyboard

All of a sudden the computer can't find my keyboard. I can't get into any systems because the computer is locked out trying to find my keyboard. Now what?

iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2014), iOS 8.1.2

If your Wi-Fi is capable of generating a 5 GHz signal, try that.


Restart the computer holding down the command - option/alt - P - R keys before the gray screen appears. Continue to hold until you hear the startup chime for the second time.

Reset NVRAM/PRAM
