Q: What do I have to do to uplaod files to the icloud drive from my Windows PC? I have signed onto the icloud.
I signed on to the iCloud, but I don't know what I have to do to upload files to the iCloud drive from my Windows PC. Also, I see no reference to my music. I used to have music, on my IPad, that I had purchased from Amazon, and some that was from my PC. My IPad crashed and I had to reinitialize it as a new IPad. I've been able to restore my apps and my documents, but most of my music is gone.
iPad Mini, iOS 9.1, iCloud on Windows 7 PC & Windows 8.

If you are signed into iCloud on your Browser, you can click on the iCloud Drive app, to open it, and then click on the Upload option cloud with arrow pointing up at the top.
If you downloaded and setup the iCloud for Windows Application, then you should have an iCloud Drive folder in Windows Explorer. You can drag and drop things to the folder directly to upload them.
Download iCloud for Windows - Apple Support

Just because it was on your iPad does not automatically mean it was uploaded to iCloud. If you downloaded the Music from Amazon, you will have to follow their instructions on how to reacquire it without paying for it again.
What was on your PC should theoretically still be there. no?
