Q: Airport Express Lost Connection Status
Both my Airport Express units now show the "Connection" as unknown. Previously they showed the signal strength (poor, fair, good, excellent). How do I restore this feature? Everything appears to be working fine except for loosing the signal strength feature. I am running OS X 10.11.1 and a Time Capsule for WiFi and backup.

You can thank OS X El Capitan (10.11.1) for the bug that results in a loss of signal strength being displayed.
Hopefully, Apple will get this fixed on the next update.
