Q: Version 10.10 Yosemite not available on App store

I would like to upgrade from Maverick to Yosemite but I cannot find the version 10.10 on the app store, only the version 10.10.5 (too advanced). Someone knows where to find the version 10.10? Thanks

MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.5)

    If you have not previously downloaded Yosemite, it is no longer available. If you have previously downloaded it, then only the most recent version will be available, in. this case 10.10.5.

    Thanks for the quick reply.

     

    Unfortunately I did not download Yosemite and now I am stuck because version 10.10.5 required that Yosemite is installed. I checked on internet and no way to find Yosemite 10.10 to download. Any idea how to get it?

    You downloaded an update to Yosemite and it is useless to you.

    Yosemite is no longer available. All you can get is 10.11.1 El Capitan.

    Unless someone has the version you want and is willing to provide it to you, you are out of luck. In addition that would be technically illegal. Would you care to share with us why you don’t want the latest version of Yosemite? There’s a lot of nonsense going around about certain releases being more or less stable.

    I would like to have the last version 10.10.5 of Yosemite but cannot install it; I am having right now the version 10.9.5 and cannot jump to Yosemite 10.10.5 without installing Yosemite 10.10.

    Hopefully I can go directly from Maverick10.9 to El Capitan 10.11.1 if I can skip installing Yosemite though I heard a lot of issues using El Capitan.

    Just log in to the App Store and download El Capitan.

    Yosemite is no longer available.
