MPEG-2 Program Stream for Mac

Question

MPEG-2 Program Stream for Mac

Hi everyone, can someone advise if "Program Stream" is available for Compressor or Quicktime?
I have to upload a TVC as an MPEG-2 file to a company called Dubsat. (via their FTP site)
I can upload the vision and audio separately to the FTP site if I have to, however I would like to send it as a multiplex file.
In compressor the multiplex selection is a "Transport Stream" not "Program Stream" and of course wouldn't you know it, Dubsat don't support "MPEG-2 Transport Stream" only "MPEG-2 Program Stream"!

So does anyone know if MPEG-2 Program Stream is a 3rd party download for Macs'?
I've tried Googling it and came up with nothing?

Any support is much appreciated

You can use the free MPEG Streamclip to multiplex the video (m2v) and audio (AC3 or AIFF) streams output by Compressor to a Program Stream.

Any updates on this? I'll probably attempt a test conversion from .m2t to .m2p.

you can in theory make a transport stream in compressor, but checking the "Multiplex" box under extras....
works ok on small files for me, but not on longer ones....

Yeah I was able to create a transport stream file in compressor, but I ultimately need a program stream file.

Using the MPEG Stream Clip, I was able to convert a transport stream file to a program stream file for testing on my system. Hopefully by tomorrow. I should be completed with my second test using longer clips (under 10 mins). I'll post my findings when I'm completed, but it looks like this is going to work for me.

By using Mpeg Streamclip I was 90% successful in my tests. I was able to convert from a transport stream to program stream mpeg that could play in my narrow casting system. However, I need to mess with the de-interlacing features because there were several fast moving scenes that fluttered and didn't look too good. I am very thankful for Mpeg Streamclip.
