i bought a used 2011 imac i5 it still has last owners info on it what is the best way to get it erased
got used imac 2011 i5 still has old owners info would like it gone so i can enter mine .and i dont know much about this

Do an Erase and Install, hopefully the original owner provided the original install DVDs. If they did not then you will need them. In that case call AppleCare, and for a nominal fee they will replaced the DVDs. You will need a credit card and the serial number.
