Will SIMS 2 work on my iBook G4?

Before I purchase the game, I'd like to know if it will work on my laptop. It has 1.42 GHz, 1 GB RAM, OSX 10.4.8, 32MB VRAM. The specs for this laptop say it has a 9550 video card or something, but I don't know how to tell if mine does. Does it? Will SIMS 2 work on this machine?
