Bought a new MacBook with AppleCare+ . I'm trying to register to the AppleCare program, but the site doesn't recognize my purchase date ( I bought the laptop and care program from a reseller.) what do I do now ?

According to http://www.apple.com/support/applecare/contact/
"If you've reviewed the information in the Manage section and still need help with an AppleCare agreement, you can call us. If you need help registering a new agreement, you'll need the AppleCare registration number. You may also need the proof of purchase (sales receipt) and the serial numberof the hardware product to be covered. To facilitate your call, explain that you need help registering an AppleCare agreement."
