no appointments at Genius Bar

Any advice please. I've been trying to get an appointment with the West Quay Genius bar in Southampton, UK, for over TWO months. My MacBook pro won't start up. It gets halfway and stalls. Everytime I go on the website with my Ipad to make an appointment it says there are none available for any time. I rang and got an automated voice on their phone number which transfers me to tech support and then leaves me hanging on for ages. I'm on PAYG so give up before getting anywhere. How do I get an appointment?

I understand that your Mac is not booting past the Apple logo as you would expect. I know how frustrating and concerning issues like this can be, but we are here to help! To troubleshoot this situation, there are a few different steps I would suggest.


1. Force your Mac to turn off by holding down the power button

2. Boot to OX X Recovery

3. Repair your disk using Disk Utility


After repairing, restart your Mac from the Apple icon in the upper left corner and try to boot again. Please let us know if the issue continues.

I tried that when it originally went down but tried again today but it doesn't get that far. The blue line goes just past a third and then goes to a white screen. Do you have any other suggestions please? I had tried all I could find on the net to no avail and thst is why I tried to get a genius bar appointment but there are never any showing at any time and only automated phone recordings
