I am trying to add my Wells Fargo debit card into my apple pay. I could see a bank agreement, but after I push next button, error comes up saying "Card Not Added. Contact your card issuer for more information." I contacted wells fargo and they don't know what the problem is.
Does anyone know why I cannot add my card?

Hello Caden, I had the same problem adding my Wells Fargo debit card to my Apple Pay. I tried several times with using the camera to enter in the info and follow the normal process for adding cards with no success. Soooo....I decided to try and enter the card details manually instead of with the camera and it worked the first time! The place to enter the card details manually is on the same screen as where you would hover your phone over the card to scan it in to your phone. Hopefully this will work for you as well. Good luck!

Try calling your bank again and asking for the matter to be escalated (perhaps ask to speak with their Apple Pay verification team), as the answer that they have provided so far is not very helpful. Only they can tell you, for example, whether or not they have:
- Received a request to approve adding your debit card to Apple Pay;
- Attempted to send you a verification request, and/or;
- Sent a Device Account Number to Apple, to be added to your device.
If your issuer cannot identify the cause and help you to resolve it, you can then contact Apple and explain what you have already been told:
