Need to back up my husbands phone as he is getting a new one. I have backed up his existing phone to my iTunes. Tried to sync contacts but a message says 'synced to another account'. He can't remember the account. Should I merge contacts to my iTunes? Will this put all of his contacts onto my phone?
iPhone 5, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)
Download a copy of My Contacts Backup (from the app store) it will make a vcard file containing all the contacts and then email it wherever you choose. To restore it just email it to the new phone and click on it. It's free.
His contacts are probably sync'd to iCloud.
