Oct 30, 2015 4:58 AM in response to PeterBreis0807by Owen Crump,Yes it did, but not immediately afterward. I upgraded two or three days earlier. I had been creating text files all day and using various shortcuts and then without any apparent change in anything at all, two of them ceased to work. I went to settings to see which end was up and found that of the 25 or so that I had that only 5 were left and, this is weird, some of them were older versions. That is, I had created them a while ago and recently modified them, but the earlier versions remained.

Oct 30, 2015 5:31 AM in response to Owen Crumpby VikingOSX,Any recent restores from Time Machine or other backup source that may have stepped on your GlobalPreferences file (where these shortcuts are stored)?

Oct 30, 2015 6:29 AM in response to VikingOSXby Owen Crump,Now, something else is happening which happened last week but I kind of ignored. It doesn't seem possible to enter shortcuts that work. There doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the inputting them, but when I go to use them they don't work even though they're in the list. Is a file corrupted?

Oct 30, 2015 11:46 AM in response to VikingOSXby Owen Crump,Now that you wrote that, I recall that immediately after upgrading the iOS that my Safari bookmarks were all messed up as well. And, as with the keyboard shortcuts, the computer had reverted to earlier ones as well as deleting many of them.
