My iCloud notes won't sync between my macbook pro and my iPhone 6. all the other notes like gmail etc are syncing fine. If this is related to upgrading notes on my macbook, then how do i do this - its not showing up in 'upgrades'. HELP!

I understand that you have updated to iOS 9 on your iPhone and updated the Notes application as well, but now notes are not syncing between your iPhone and Mac. This would be expected behavior if you have not updated your Mac to the new operating system Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan.
Upgrade your notes with iOS 9 and OS X El Capitan - Apple Support
Once your Mac’s version of OS X has been upgraded, your notes should start syncing again as expected.

Hi, I already upgraded everything, my Mac has iOS El Capitan 10.11.2 but my notes still won't sync, they were ok until yesterday, I don't know what happened, I can see them on the iCloud web page, on my iPad, iPhone but not in my iMac computer, please help!
Create a new test note on the computer and then go to iCloud.com to see if the test note is there. If not, computer System Preferences/iCloud and uncheck syncing. Wait a couple of minutes and then reset syncing. If the test note is at iCloud.com, but not on the iPhone, go to Settings and repeat the stop sync/resync.
I've done that many times but won't work. Notes sync between iCloud, iPad, iPhone but not on my computer, I've unchecked the notes icon in the iCloud account in my computer and check it back again but I just get some old notes.
Have you tried signing out of iCloud and then sign back in?
