After multiple trims and substitutions in a 6 minute timeline with all media in ProRes 422 (from XDCAM and AVCHD) some clips play with offset video, with jumps in the video stream and fragments of clips which do not appear in the current timeline. The time line and timecode displays show the video and audio to be in sync! This can be fixed by replacing the affected video but it is time consuming and this should not be happening. The sequence in this instance has been duplicated 5 times. Earlier dupes do not show this problem. It has been happening over the last year or two with different OSs, now using Mavericks. I've tried trashing prefs a number of times to no avail. I'll try trashing all renders and re-rendering.
This always happens in the final cuts with a deadline looming...
Anyone have ideas?
