Q: Apple Pay via Employee Purchase Site (EPP)

Is there a way to use Apple Pay via an Employeye Purchase (EPP) site?  I'd like to get my employer's discount purchasing via the online Apple Store, and take advantage of Discover's cash back offer for using Apple Pay. I can't find a way to do this via my phone set up with Apple Pay.  Any suggestions?

    Hi

Apple Pay can be used in stores that accept contactless payments and within participating apps. It is available as a payment option in the Apple Store app, but not the Apple Online Store. Discover is not presently supported for Apple Pay payments within apps (this is coming soon).

Discover's Apple Pay bonus is only available on in-store payments, so you'll have to be in an Apple Store to make this happen. Though EPP is usually done online, I've found it's possible for stores to match your employee pricing if you explain your situation. If you're looking for a standard configuration and visiting an Apple Store is an option, I'd bet you won't have any problems.

Build-to-order is harder, since then it seems that online payment really is the only choice. In that case, I would definitely recommend that you visit an Apple Store and explain your situation to a clerk... with some polite persistence, I've found them to be very creative problem solvers.

Usual disclaimers apply, not affiliated with Apple, just speaking from experience with the very helpful staff of my local Apple Store.
