I understand that you purchased a MacBook Pro and a Thunderbolt to Ethernet Adaptor, but are not able to get online. In this situation, I would first read over and work through the steps in the attached article to ensure that the adaptor has been set up correctly.

Thanks for replying. This does not resolve my issue. The Ethernet is still not able to connect.
