Q: apple tv 4th gen bluetooth headphones

I can connect my beats studio wireless headphones to my new apple tv 4th gen.  When I connect a second pair or beats studio wireless headphones (for a second person), the first pair disconnects.  Is there a way to keep both sets of bluetooth headphones conncted at the same time?  If not, can we expect this in a future tvos update as it would be very useful (eg 2 kids playing video games or 2 parents watching tv after kids in bed).

    Hi ferd94,

I see you're trying to pair multiple Bluetooth headphones with your Apple TV (4th generation).  The reason you're only able to keep one pair of headphones connected at a time, is that the Apple TV supports one Bluetooth audio accessory at a time.

Use more than one Bluetooth accessory

Your Apple TV (4th generation) can support several Bluetooth controllers simultaneously, up to this many:

    • One Siri Remote or Apple TV Remote*
    • Two MFi (Made for iOS) Bluetooth controllers, or one MFi Bluetooth controller and one Bluetooth audio accessory (like headphones or speakers)

You might be able to pair more accessories, but at some point you may need to unpair other accessories to allow for new ones.

Use Bluetooth accessories with your Apple TV (4th generation)

    Take care.
