Can you access your Apple Music subscription on a 3rd generation Apple TV

No... will never happen..

There supposed to be an Android version coming out sometime soon. but no word on the Apple TV update for 3rd generations for Apple music.

I think Apple just want us all to buy an Apple TV 4

My memory might be playing games on me, but I thought Apple mentioned during their most recent keynote that an Apple Music app would be available on the third generation Apple TV.

nope. They never mentioned 3rd generation specifically. I don't think they said 3rd generation even in the keynote itself.

This statement however is true because Apple music *is* on the 4th gen.

I think Apple has other plans, based or info online.

U guess you could always airplay it from iOS to the 3rd generation... not as convenient as an app, but i think that's the best u'r gonna get.

I was wrong... ****... Apple Music will not be available on 3rd generation. Might have to cancel my subscription. It's really not as good as Spotify anyway.
